Well, I wrote an entire article about this month’s AmperArt piece, #96 Pencil & Eraser…but most of it got erased. Wish I’d written it out in pencil — takes a lot more effort to erase graphite than it is to accidentally hit the delete key.
When I get a chance I’ll write it again. I discovered some interesting history about the pencil & eraser, including some quirky habits about its users, which I’d like to share with you.
Till then here are some images to bring back memories (if you’re old enough to remember pencils, not just pixels)…
